During the initial stages, he struggled with immense marketing and logistical problems. However, despite of all the challenges he faced, he built the company from strength to strength, year on year. In 2010, he steered the Company through a massive Expansion Project and a new range of foods and beverages were added to the product profile. This project was financed by Bank of Baroda, Imphal with Venture Capital Assistance from Small Farmers Agri-Business Consortium, New Delhi. This Project increased the Company’s production capacity to a great extent. In October 2011, Mr. Joykumar added yet another Division to his company and launched a range of Packaged Drinking Water under the flagship brand “Likla”. In December 2012, construction work began for a second Manufacturing Plant at Food Park, Nilakuthi, Imphal. The Bottle Blowing Unit of this new Plant was commissioned in November 2013. The Packaged Drinking Water Unit was then commissioned in December 2014. In October 2016, Likla Bakery Division was launched manufacturing a range of bakery products for the wholesale market. In May 2017, the first ever Likla Bakery Exclusive Outlet was opened at Moirangkhom Bazar, Imphal, serving premium bakery products. And the legacy continues by launching several other exclusive retail outlets across the Imphal City and beyond during 2018 and 2020.
Diversifying its portfolio, the Company ventured into the education sector with a vision to foster a unique and progressive learning style for the toddlers and kids by establishing a pre-school under the Brand name “JJ school Montessori” at Imphal in the year 2018.. JJ School is equipped with beautifully crafted classrooms with an aesthetic design along with state of the art facilities, facilitated by our highly trained teachers.
