Thangjam Agro has made a commitment of giving back to the community through regular visits to a local children’s home – Poirei Nawakon, a home for more than 25 young girls located at Achanbigei. On a monthly basis, our team visit the home to hand over snacks, groceries, drinking water jars and kitchen items to the administrators, who in turn use these supplies to provide nourishing meals for the children in their care.
The children’s home is a non-profit organisation that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children. Our company is honoured to be able to make a small yet positive impact in their lives by providing them with nutritious snacks, groceries that help the home prepare meals for the children.
The items, which are essential to provide meals for the kids, were especially appreciated by the administrators.The children were excited to have visitors and they welcomed our team with open arms. The staff appeared to be very supportive of the children, and they seemed very pleased. It has been a great experience for our employees and it has helped us to realise the importance of giving back to the community. Additionally, it has taught us gratitude and how to embrace the little things in life.
